Subscription Service

By purchasing a subscription product, you agree to these Subscription Terms & Conditions in addition to our general Terms & Conditions.

1. Subscription Agreement

When you purchase a subscription, you authorise us to automatically charge your chosen payment method for each recurring order at the selected delivery frequency until your subscription is cancelled in accordance with these terms.

2. Minimum Subscription Period

Subscriptions are subject to a minimum commitment of two (2) successfully processed orders.

Subscriptions cannot be cancelled until the second subscription order has been processed.

After the minimum two-order commitment has been fulfilled, you may cancel your subscription at any time before your next renewal date.

3. Subscription Reminder

We will send a reminder email 4 days before your next subscription order is due to be processed.

This reminder provides details of your upcoming order and gives you the opportunity to manage or cancel your subscription before it renews.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their email address is correct and to check their inbox (including spam or junk folders) for these notifications.

4. How to Cancel

Once your minimum two-order commitment has been completed, you may cancel your subscription using any of the following methods:

  • Log into your account and manage your subscription.
  • Click the Manage Subscription link contained within your subscription reminder email.
  • Email our customer service team at info@british-grocery.com requesting cancellation.

Cancellation requests received after your next subscription order has already been processed cannot prevent that order from being fulfilled. The cancellation will instead apply to all future subscription orders.

5. Managing Your Subscription

You may, where available, manage your subscription through your online account or the subscription management link contained within your reminder emails. This may include:

  • Cancelling future renewals (after the minimum two-order commitment)
  • Updating your delivery address
  • Updating your payment method
  • Changing your delivery frequency (where available)
  • Skipping an upcoming order (where available)

6. Payment

Each subscription renewal authorises us to charge the payment method held on your account for the current price of the products, together with any applicable delivery charges.

If payment cannot be successfully processed, we may retry the payment or suspend or cancel the subscription until payment is successfully received.

7. Prices

Subscription prices are those displayed on our website at the time each recurring order is processed.

Product prices and delivery charges may increase or decrease over time. Any changes will automatically apply to future subscription orders.

8. Product Availability

Subscriptions are subject to product availability.

If a product becomes unavailable, we may:

  • remove the unavailable product from your subscription order; or
  • cancel the subscription where continued fulfilment is not possible.

9. Delivery

Each subscription order is treated as a separate order and is subject to our standard delivery terms, estimated delivery times, and Returns Policy.

10. Returns

Subscription orders are covered by our standard Returns Policy.

The existence of a subscription does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

11. Changes to Your Subscription

We reserve the right to amend, suspend or discontinue the subscription service where necessary, including where products are discontinued, suppliers change, pricing changes occur, or operational requirements make the subscription impractical.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of any material changes.

12. Fraudulent Chargebacks

Customers agree to contact us first if they believe a subscription has renewed in error.

Where a customer initiates a chargeback without first attempting to cancel the subscription using one of the methods provided, despite being sent renewal reminders and being provided with multiple cancellation methods, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and recover any losses, fees or costs incurred where permitted by law.
